Create a Culture of Security- October is cybersecurity month
October is cybersecurity month, and we’re getting a jump start on it this year! Below are some tools, resources, and free webinars that we wanted to share with you and the Waseca Chamber members.
Understanding cybersecurity has never been more critical to the future success of all organizations. Cyberattacks are becoming more frequent and damaging, in both costs and reputation. Preventing attacks, having an incident response plan and creating a culture of security are a necessity for any organization that wants to protect what it has built.
There are three main areas organizations often need to address:
Where to focus resources and how to build out plans that work specifically for the organization.
Discovery of where technical security weaknesses lie, prioritizing what changes need to happen, addressing vulnerabilities, validating that risk has been resolved, and responding when an incident occurs.
Selecting the right cybersecurity tools for your environment and ensuring those tools are set up and used most effectively.
