South Central College became Minnesota?s newest comprehensive community and technical college in 2005, when it expanded its mission to include the Associate of Arts degree. The college offers students more choices, better value and unlimited opportunities. The new Associate of Arts degree in liberal arts and sciences allows students to take the first two years of their bachelor?s degree at SCC before transferring to a University. In addition, SCC offers more than 50 career and professional majors on its campuses in Faribault and North Mankato.
OUR VISION: South Central College will be the region?s leading institution for transitioning individuals into the college environment, educating students for technical careers, and building student capacity for future study through inclusive student-centered programs and services. The college will be a committed partner in the regional economy, helping individuals and organizations compete in the global marketplace.
OUR MISSION: South Central College provides accessible higher education to promote student growth and regional economic development.
